Overview Of The Role:

  • The Beauty Advisor is responsible for effectively selling beauty products while providing excellent customer service. They play a crucial role in enhancing customer satisfaction by offering knowledgeable insights on products, ensuring accurate and efficient merchandising and promotion displays, and adhering to customer service standards. The aim is to drive sales and business growth through proactive engagement and thorough understanding of customer needs.

What You Will Do:

Sales


  • Recommend products by highlighting features, advantages, and benefits to customers.
  • Assist customers in locating, selecting, and purchasing desired products based on their preferences.
  • Utilize selling techniques such as suggestive selling, upselling, and cross-selling to increase Average Transaction Value (ATV).
  • Monitor availability and status of GOBE products and handle missing product scenarios.

Merchandising


  • Ensure proper safekeeping and management of all store merchandise to prevent losses through shoplifting or damages.
  • Monitor and update reports on product shelf life and manage outdated items.
  • Ensure products on display are replenished as needed and equipped with appropriate shelf and price tags.

Customer Service


  • Comply with set customer service standards, including greeting customers and offering baskets.
  • Attend to customer queries and resolve complaints within scope of customer service standards.
  • Prepare and set up store promotions effectively using Marketing Collaterals.

Operations


  • Monitor weekly price changes and update shelf and price tags promptly.
  • Display all products timely following set planograms and guidelines.
  • Strictly comply with company policies on attendance, punctuality, and grooming standards.


Required Skills To Be Successful:

  • Excellent customer service and relationship-building skills.
  • Effective sales techniques including upselling and cross-selling.
  • Knowledge of retail operations, including stock management and visual merchandising.
  • Strong problem-solving and leadership abilities.

What Qualifies You For The Role:

  • High School diploma or a similar level of education.
  • 2 to 4 years of experience in retail, particularly in the beauty or fashion sectors.
  • Strong understanding of the fashion/beauty industry, including current trends and retail operations.
  • Proficiency in computer skills and retail systems.
