Overview of the role
Your role will be to implement and maintain the brand image within the store, ensuring visual consistency. You will provide the customer with the most inspirational shopping experience possible. You will also be responsible for maintaining effective communication with store colleagues and the Manager VM.
What you will do: -
Description of Accountability
PRODUCT & FURNITURE LAYOUT
- Is equipped with knowledge of the seasonal trends, understand them and can identify: key pieces in current collections, pieces we must have for our market and fully understands company's trends and direction, as well as market trends.
- Can demonstrate knowledge on handling procedure of mannequin (and busto) how to dress by following the company standards
- Is able to make section divisions according to the sales contribution
COMMERCIALITY
- Analyze weekly subfamily report, identifying PROBLEM/ POTENTIAL/ OPPORTUNITY subfamilies and can strategically act accordingly to Store’s performance.
- Is capable to control the rotation of stock, can identify difficulties of selling different subfamilies, and has the information of best/worst selling items of the past years.
- Can build an action plans based on analysis of commercial reports and take necessary action based on business and store’s needs.
- Fully understand of customer profiles in local market and can propose a plan of product adjustments when needed.
- Shows a clear understanding on how commercial decisions impacts store performance and can analysis the impact (results) of commercial decisions, demonstrating the ability to react to new information, putting solutions in place and offering alternatives
- Work with commercials, managers and BUL to create new commercial strategy, layout plan according to sales analysis
VISUAL MERCHANDISING
- Demonstrates clear knowledge of pilot pictures and knows how to adapt the concept of pilot pictures to own store’s customer profile.
- Works on mannequins and dress them in key looks representing the surrounding collection and understands the setup guidelines for a group of mannequins.
- Identify and action creative and visual ideas for the store
- Identify and solve image problems
- Communicates with commercials for advice when necessary to change furniture
LEARNING & DEVELOPMENT
- Responsible for the training and development of the commercial team.
- Identify and develop potential within the store and manage succession plans with the relevant follow up.
STANDARDS & COMPLIANCE
• Ensures that the store is adequately resourced across all the areas that are touched by legal compliance have a thorough knowledge of all compliance issues across the store and that the people involved are knowledgeable and fully trained
• Ensures employees are knowledgeable and always updated on SOPs
• Implements store self-assessment audits/reviews internal audit reports and devise action plans with the wider management team ensuing that actions are delivered
HEALTH & SAFETY
- To ensure good housekeeping is maintained throughout all areas in the store and to communicate with the senior management team in case an accident happens
- To be aware of the risks of employees and customers are exposed to and to be aware of safe work practices and company procedures to overcome them
Required Skills to be successful:
- Experience managing a fast-paced retail operation. Passion for people & processes
- Visual flair and creative thinking required.
- Strong systematic organized to approach to work.
- Strong leadership and man management skills.
What equips you for the role:
- 3+ years’ experience in the fashion retail experience in visual merchandising or supervisory skills preferred
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
- Strong computer skills are required.
