Overview Of The Role:

  • The Beauty Advisor plays a crucial role in driving sales growth by providing excellent customer service, demonstrating full product knowledge, and maintaining accurate merchandise display and promotions. They are expected to engage and satisfy customers through efficient service, thereby impacting sales positively. The role involves collaborating with the store team to ensure store operations are smoothly executed and contribute to the overall financial performance by achieving key performance indicators (KPIs).

What You Will Do:

Sales and Customer Service


  • Recommend appropriate products and provide detailed information highlighting their features, advantages, and benefits.
  • Assist customers in locating, selecting, and purchasing products based on their preferred brand, variant, and color.
  • Utilize selling techniques such as suggestive selling, upselling, and cross-selling to increase Average Transaction Value (ATV).
  • Attend to all customer queries and needs, ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Resolve customer complaints guided by set customer service standards within the scope of control.
  • Comply with all customer service standards, including smiling, greeting, and offering a basket.

Merchandising and Display


  • Ensure products on display are replenished as needed with complete shelf price tags.
  • Monitor availability of GOBE products and update reports on product shelf life.
  • Prepare and set up store promotions using marketing collaterals.
  • Display all products following set planograms and guidelines for a specified duration.
  • Weekly monitor price changes and update shelf/price tags as needed.

Store Operations


  • Ensure proper safekeeping of all store merchandise to prevent shoplifting, damages, and pilferages.
  • Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the assigned area.
  • Monitor financial dimensions such as P&L and store KPIs, including UPT, ATV, SOP, SPSQFT, audit compliance, and shrinkage.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, attendance, punctuality, and grooming standards.

Personal Development and Team Collaboration


  • Accomplish Mandatory Foundation Program (MFP) and Personal Development Plan (PDP) on time.
  • Participate in and implement agreed Employee Engagement Survey (EES) action plans.
  • Build competencies and engage in role development and personal development monitoring.

What Qualifies You For The Role:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; a degree is not essential.
  • 2 to 4 years of experience in retail, preferably focused on the beauty or fashion sector.
  • Good knowledge of the fashion/beauty industry and current trends.
  • Retail operational skills, including stock management, visual merchandising, and cash handling.
