Overview of the role
As a Mechanical Technician, you will play a critical role in delivering high quality service and repairs on customer vehicles in alignment with dealership standards. Your expertise will directly support workshop efficiency, customer satisfaction, and revenue generation by ensuring vehicles are fixed right the first time with outstanding technical precision.
What you will do
• Execute all mechanical repairs and services as assigned on repair orders, ensuring timely and accurate completion.
• Diagnose faults, perform troubleshooting, and escalate for supervisor support when needed.
• Identify and report any additional repair requirements with clear cost estimates.
• Maintain all check sheets, log sheets, and follow Standard Operating Procedures consistently.
• Ensure proper handling, upkeep, and housekeeping of tools, special tools, and work bay areas.
• Achieve targeted productivity and efficiency levels through accurate timekeeping and disciplined work practices.
• Complete required e learning modules, on the job training sessions, and certification programs as scheduled.
• Comply with all workshop safety protocols, ensuring correct use of safety equipment and helping maintain a safe working environment.
Required skills to be successful
• 2–3 years of experience as a technician within an automotive dealership environment.
• ITI or Diploma in Automobile Engineering.
• Strong technical knowledge and hands on skills in automotive mechanical systems.
• Ability to use workshop tools, special tools, and diagnostic equipment effectively.
About the team
You will be part of a dynamic Aftersales team, working closely with Service Supervisors and fellow technicians focused on delivering exceptional customer service through high quality vehicle repairs. The team values collaboration, safety, continuous learning, and adherence to dealership standards.

• Proficiency in mechanical repairs, use of workshop tools, and basic PC applications.
• A valid motor driving experience.
• Personal attributes such as hard work, honesty, productivity, and the ability to thrive under pressure.
• Basic computer literacy for repair documentation and training modules.
• Good understanding of automotive parts, wiring diagrams, and workshop manuals.
• High attention to detail, problem solving mindset, and commitment to “Fix It Right First Time.”
• Ability to work under pressure while maintaining quality and productivity.
