Overview of the role

We are looking for a skilled and performance-driven Technician – Heavy Duty Trucks to join our Commercial Vehicle Aftersales team in the UAE. This role is critical in ensuring high-quality service and repair of customer vehicles while maximizing productivity and workshop efficiency.

As part of the workshop team, you will play a key role in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining heavy-duty trucks to the highest standards, contributing directly to customer satisfaction and Aftersales revenue.

What you will do

• Carry out service and repair of heavy-duty trucks in line with manufacturer and dealership standards
• Perform assigned repairs within standard time while maintaining high quality of work
• Diagnose faults accurately and ensure first-time fix to minimize repeat repairs
• Proactively identify potential issues and recommend additional repair work where required
• Follow workshop procedures, safety standards, and job flow processes at all times
• Use check sheets, manuals, and diagnostic tools effectively during repairs
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the workspace
• Ensure clear communication with supervisors on work progress and technical issues

Required skills to be successful

• Strong mechanical and electrical diagnostic skills
• Good understanding of heavy-duty truck systems and repair processes
• Ability to work with workshop tools, diagnostic equipment, and service manuals
• Strong focus on quality and first-time fix performance
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced workshop environment
• Good communication and teamwork skills

About the team

You will be part of the Aftersales team, supporting operations focused on heavy-duty trucks. The team prioritizes productivity, quality repairs, and delivering a seamless customer experience while ensuring maximum vehicle uptime.

What equips you for the role

• Diploma or certification in Automobile or Mechanical Engineering
• Minimum 3 years of experience in automotive service, preferably heavy-duty trucks or commercial vehicles
• Proven ability to carry out repairs independently with high technical accuracy
• Familiarity with service manuals, schematics, and workshop diagnostic processes
• Basic computer skills
• Strong commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement
