Overview of the Role

Are you an experienced automotive technical professional with advanced diagnostic expertise and a passion for solving complex vehicle concerns?

 

We are currently building a strong pool of talented Technical Advisors for future opportunities across the UAE.

 

As a Technical Advisor, you will provide technical guidance and support for complex vehicle repair and diagnostic cases. You will work closely with customers, Service Advisors, and workshop technicians to understand concerns, confirm symptoms, conduct road tests where required, and guide the repair process with a strong focus on resolving issues correctly the first time.

You will also play an important role in supporting technical development within the workshop by sharing knowledge, coaching technicians, and promoting high standards of quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.

 

What You Will Do

  • Interact with customers to understand complex vehicle concerns and accurately confirm reported symptoms.
  • Conduct vehicle observations and road tests to support diagnosis where required.
  • Provide technical consultation and guidance to Service Advisors and workshop technicians.
  • Support the diagnosis and resolution of advanced general repair cases with a strong focus on fixing concerns correctly the first time.
  • Manage technical aspects of vehicle warranty repairs in accordance with established processes and requirements.
  • Prepare and communicate technical findings and reports.
  • Ensure diagnostic tools and equipment are available, updated, maintained, and periodically checked.
  • Support compliance with health, safety, workshop, and operational standards.
  • Provide on-the-job technical coaching and support to technicians.
  • Contribute to the assessment and development of diagnostic technicians.

About the Team

You will be part of a professional Aftersales workshop team, working closely with Workshop Managers, Service Advisors, technicians, warranty teams, and technical specialists.

The role requires strong collaboration across both customer-facing and technical teams to ensure complex vehicle concerns are accurately diagnosed and resolved. You will also contribute to the ongoing technical development of workshop colleagues through coaching, knowledge sharing, and on-the-job support.

 

What Equips You for the Role

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Automobile or Mechanical Engineering.
  • Relevant automotive technical certifications.
  • Valid UAE driving licence.
  • Minimum 7 years of overall experience within automotive dealerships, including at least 2 years in a similar Technical Advisor or Diagnostic Master Technician role.
  • Advanced vehicle diagnostic and technical troubleshooting capabilities.
  • Additional technical development certifications are an advantage.
  • Excellent written and spoken English.
  • Strong customer handling, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Keen attention to detail and commitment to high-quality repair standards.
