Overview Of The Role:
- The Visual Commercial Supervisor works closely with the Commercial Manager to enhance the store's image and commerciality through effective visual merchandising and commercial planning. This role is pivotal in driving product promotion, ensuring high standards of customer service, managing product levels, and addressing operational challenges. The Visual Commercial Supervisor also supports colleague training and development, contributing significantly to the store's overall performance.
What You Will Do:
Visual
- Merchandise the store in accordance with company guidelines.
- Promote new product lines effectively.
- Support the commercial manager in identifying and executing creative visual ideas.
- Use in-store props and mannequins appropriately to enhance visual appeal.
- Stay updated on latest fashion trends and provide feedback on competition activity.
- Master and utilize the Merchan app daily.
Commercial
- Develop a deep understanding of Gestion Retail app.
- Analyze daily information and react accordingly.
- Plan commercial and visual activities on a daily/weekly/seasonal basis.
- Manage different commercial issues such as delivery delays and event adaptations.
- Collaborate with the operational team to ensure best RFID practices.
- Monitor daily product replenishment and maintain high image standards.
- Conduct competitor analysis and provide product feedback.
- Control product levels in the store and communicate needs to senior management.
- Manage all product-related procedures and reports (e.g., Delivery app, RFID reports).
Customer Service
- Provide high customer service levels within the store and follow service action plans.
- Support customer service with product knowledge on new arrivals and replenishment.
- Offer alternatives to customers and resolve queries, referring to senior management as needed.
Training & Development
- Participate in training and development of commercial colleagues.
- Support management in training new starters.
- Inform and develop team product knowledge during morning meetings, covering novelties, promos, and trends.
Health & Safety
- Ensure good housekeeping throughout all store areas and communicate accidents to senior management.
- Identify risks to employees and customers and apply safe work practices and company procedures.
Required Skills To Be Successful:
- Visual merchandising expertise within retail.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficiency in commercial and analytic applications (e.g., RFID, Merchan app).
- Team management and leadership skills.
