Overview of the role
We are looking for a skilled and experienced Diagnostic Master Technician to join our Retail Aftersales team in the UAE. The role is responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing vehicles using advanced diagnostic tools and the Fix It Right process to deliver high-quality customer experience and support customer retention in line with OEM standards.

 

 

What you will do
•    Carry out advanced vehicle diagnosis, general repairs, periodic maintenance, advanced general repairs, and accessory fitment as per repair manuals and OEM standards.
•    Use diagnostic equipment and technical resources to identify vehicle faults accurately and complete repairs in line with the Fix It Right process.
•    Achieve productivity, utilization, and sold-hours targets set by the business.
•    Support the Technical Advisor with advanced general repair cases across hybrid, petrol, diesel, and hydrogen-powered vehicles.
•    Assist with Repair Support Requests, quality checks, road testing, and technical reporting where required.
•    Create Electronic Warranty Approval Requests in the Dealer Management System.
•    Maintain full compliance with 5S, health and safety procedures, quality control standards, and Electronic Vehicle Check reporting.
•    Support on-the-job training for technicians and help develop technical capability within the workshop team.
•    Ensure proper use, care, and inventory management of special service tools and general workshop tools.

 

Required skills to be successful
•    Strong technical diagnosis and mechanical repair capability.
•    Advanced knowledge of diagnostic tools, repair manuals, wiring diagrams, and vehicle systems. Ability to write clear technical reports for advanced repair cases.
•    Ability to write clear technical reports for advanced repair cases.
•    Diploma, technical certification, ITI, Industrial Training Institute NCVT Certificate, or ITC qualification. Certified Technician qualification is required.

 

About the team
You will be part of the Retail Aftersales team, working closely with the Workshop Supervisor, Technical Advisor, Controller, Team Leader, and other technicians. The team is focused on delivering efficient, accurate, and high-quality vehicle repairs while ensuring customer satisfaction, operational productivity, and compliance with OEM and workshop standards.


What equips you for the role
•    5–7 years of experience as a Diagnostic Technician, preferably within a retail automotive environment.
•    Valid UAE driving license is required.
•    Strong knowledge of hybrid, petrol, diesel, and hydrogen-powered vehicle diagnosis and repair is an advantage.
•    Conversant English communication skills.
•    Ability to work independently, take ownership, and support the development of other technicians through coaching and on-the-job training.
•    Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a multicultural team environment.
•    Self-motivated, resilient, and committed to continuous improvement and self-development.
•    Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to delivering quality repairs and improving customer satisfaction.
