Overview of the role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Manager - Planning (MIS) to join our team in Sri Lanka. As the Senior Manager Planning, you will play a pivotal role in assisting the Director – Aftersales in managing and administering all brands' After Sales Operations. From planning and financial forecasting to performance management and project coordination, your expertise will drive our business forward.

 

What you will do

  • Effectively develop & monitor mid-term and annual Aftersales business plan including track of all required KPIs for Financial, Operational goals and objectives and Customer areas by managing the available resources and manage the planning team to suit the business needs.
  • Monitor monthly business performance by KPI and highlight risk and opportunities and KPI analysis to identify areas of improvement and drive actions by maintaining close relationships, maintain a consistent approach and liaise with the business.
  • Development & implementation of annual aftersales marketing campaign calendar for the target segment including the delivery of VIN visits as per plan through efficient stakeholder management with Marketing, CRM Dept and Call Centre.
  • Project management for all AMW businesses including network development to ensure business growth and develop annual plan and keep progress track including monthly reporting within timeline.
  • Develop SOPs and relevant business controls to ensure compliance in the business by all staff members by determining priorities and making decisions of business unit impact (companywide for professional functions).
  • Manage all technical and warranty requirements of the Aftersales business including principal relationship management, whilst effectively maintaining relationships with the Suzuki, Nissan, Renault and Yamaha Principals.
  • Manage the HSSE function of all AMW locations, by maintaining a safe work environment for all staff members including facilitating relevant trainings, process controls aligning with the Al-Futtaim HSSE guidelines.
  • Develop or use Existing market Intelligence and/or External market data to carry out after sales marketing campaigns for business growth.
  • Generate business insights for the management for the Aftersales business with standards reports for the monitoring of the business performance.  
  • Oversee the call center functions, develop targets, and metrices to ensure quality response to customers and achievement of set customer satisfaction

 

Required skills to be successful

  • 5-7 years of experience in supervisory/managerial roles in planning function.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze complex data sets, identify trends, and extract meaningful insights to inform decision-making and strategic planning.
  • Proven track record of utilizing data analytics to drive business performance, optimize processes, and enhance operational efficiency.
  • Strong knowledge in financial forecasting

What equips you for the role

  • Degree in Engineering, Analytics, or Management. Having a Master’s degree will be preferred. 
  • ‍Strong managerial, negotiation, and business acumen skills.
  • Strategic thinking, organizational, and analytical abilities.
  • Accountable for devising, planning, and delivering complex initiatives aligned with business objectives.
  • Ability to handle complex projects, allocate resources efficiently, and deliver within time and budget constraints.
  • Creative problem-solving skills to analyze and resolve technical or abstract challenges.
