Overview of the role

As the Senior Financial Analyst, you will be providing Business Finance support to the AMW Tyre Manufacturing Plant while responsible for FP&A activities, Working Capital Management, Financial Controls and providing continuous business support for timely and effective decision making.

 

What will you do

  • Develop annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and strategic plans aligned with KPIs.
  • Analyze actual performance against budget / forecast and prior years, providing detailed insights.
  • Support decision-making by providing timely, meaningful insights on business performance.
  • Monitor inventory performance against KPIs, facilitate SSOP meetings, and manage overage inventory.
  • Monitor application of credit policies, report overdue accounts, and manage receivables.
  • Compare budget/forecast figures against actuals, identify variances, and recommend corrective actions.
  • Develop business MIS incorporating key performance indicators.
  • Provide timely Management Reports including financial and operational dashboards.
  • Develop financial feasibility models and prepare analyses for review by senior management.
  • A resident in proximity to Kalutara area would be ideal.

 

What equips you for the role

  • Full or part qualified in  CA Sri Lanka or ACCA, CIMA with a Finance or Accountancy degree from a recognized university.
  • Minimum of 05 years post qualifying experience, preferably in Manufacturing sector.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting techniques, and management reporting.

 

Required skills to be successful

  • Excellent knowledge on requirements of International Financial Reporting Standards.
  • Advanced Excel skills and proficient in data analysis tools and other accounting tools.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems, especially SAP is a significant advantage.
  • Excellent communication skills with strong analytical, presentation and organizing skills.
