Overview Of The Role:

  • The VCM / FLS Supervisor plays a critical role in ensuring the operational excellence of the store. This position involves supervising floor activities, managing fitting rooms, handling customer grievances, and maintaining store image according to brand guidelines. Success in this role requires effective supervision, excellent customer service expertise, and strong teamwork abilities. The supervisor must dynamically balance commercial needs with visual merchandising priorities while ensuring compliance with legal and health standards across the store.

What You Will Do:

Shop Floor & Fitting Room Management


  • Present a proper personal image and continuously check and manage the image of staff.
  • Demonstrate good control of replenishment and ensure sufficient product display during peak hours/days.
  • Lead by example and teach Customer Service Minimum to the team, motivate & ensure they achieve these standards.
  • Provide immediate assistance, solutions, and up-selling to customers.
  • Supervise and manage the fitting room, maintaining a good image.
  • Handle complaints and difficult situations with customers, follow company procedures, and escalate if necessary.
  • Collect product feedback from customers, identify product issues, and communicate with managers.
  • Manage the queue and service at the cashier counter.

Product Knowledge & Floor Layout


  • Examine with the manager to ensure furniture is properly used according to the Visual Merchandising Manual.
  • Adjust lighting direction as necessary, and manage store fixture inventory to ensure everything is up to date.
  • Ensure fixtures and furniture conditions meet standards.
  • Maintain proper replenishment of products on the shop floor at all times.

Commerciality


  • Foresee and react to special commercial moments like weather changes or mall events.
  • Read and utilize RFID commercial reports including anti-ranking, shop floor locked, and money mapping.
  • Understand the concept of distribution system during rebajas and organize capacity/general returns.
  • Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of various reports such as Rotation and Success, Subfamily report, and new arrival report.

Visual Merchandising Skills


  • Display knowledge of the company boutique concept.
  • Explain suitable products for different fixtures and coordinate them accordingly.
  • Identify priority areas for displaying best selling/new/potential collections.
  • Balance between sales and store image.
  • Prepare for Special Day visual commercial events following company processes.
  • Apply the 5 Basic VM principles: Concept, Color, Print, Acc, Replenishment.
  • Place graphics and signs correctly according to seasons and pricing.

Learning & Development


  • Responsible for the training and development of the commercial team.
  • Identify and develop potential within the store and manage succession plans with relevant follow-up.

Standards & Compliance


  • Ensure the store is adequately resourced in all areas affected by legal compliance.
  • Maintain thorough knowledge of all compliance issues and ensure relevant personnel are fully trained.
  • Implement store self-assessment audits and review internal audit reports, devise and execute action plans.

Health & Safety


  • Maintain good housekeeping throughout all areas of the store.
  • Communicate with senior management regarding any accidents.
  • Be aware of risks employees and customers are exposed to and implement safe work practices and company procedures.


Required Skills To Be Successful:

  • Strong customer service skills and ability to manage grievances effectively.
  • Knowledge of visual merchandising principles and store layout optimization.
  • Ability to comply with and enforce legal standards and health and safety protocols.
  • Strong leadership and team motivation skills; ability to train and develop staff effectively.

What Qualifies You For The Role:

  • Previous experience in fashion retail preferred, with strong customer service skills.
  • Cash handling experience is desirable.
  • Strong numeracy and literacy skills required.
  • Demonstrated passion for fashion and commitment to the brand values.
  • Energetic, enthusiastic, and articulate with good communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and strong initiative.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Flexibility to work a varied schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
