• This role supports the store's objectives by delivering excellent customer service and maintaining designated sections or zones. It encompasses not only sales and cashier duties but also compliance with store standards, health and safety requirements, and staff training and development. Success in this position is measured by customer satisfaction, operational efficiency, compliance adherence, and achieving sales targets.

General

• Deliver excellent customer service to meet store objectives.
• Maintain responsibility for designated store sections, ensuring they are orderly and presentable.
• Efficiently process sales, exchanges, and refunds using all payment methods.
• Keep shop floor housekeeping standards high and ensure cash desk areas are tidy and replenished.
• Acknowledge customers and provide quality service both in-person and via telephone.
• Organize and maintain stockroom standards efficiently.
• Stay updated on stock knowledge and promotions throughout the store.
• Cover responsibilities of Head Cashier and Deputy Cashier in their absence.
• Engage in relevant training and development sessions set by the line manager.
• Ensure efficiency in opening and closing cash desk procedures.

Compliance and Standards

• Ensure the store is adequately resourced to meet legal compliance requirements.
• Maintain thorough knowledge of compliance issues and ensure employees are trained and knowledgeable.
• Implement store self-assessment audits and devise action plans with management to address findings.
• Ensure good housekeeping is maintained across the store areas.
• Communicate with management in case of accidents or risks and follow safe work practices.

• Strong customer service skills with a focus on providing quality experiences.
• Ability to handle cash and manage transactions accurately.
• Knowledge of stock management and store promotions.
• Flexibility and adaptability in schedule and working conditions.

• Previous fashion retail or excellent customer service experience preferred.
• Experience with cash handling and strong numeracy skills desirable.
• Passion for fashion and articulate communication skills are essential.
• Energetic, enthusiastic, and possess strong interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated initiative, self-motivation, and ability to work both independently and in teams.
• Flexibility to work varied hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
