• The Sales Associate Cum Cashier role is designed to support store objectives through excellent customer service, promoting a positive shopping experience. The role demands responsibility for maintaining a well-organized and visually appealing store zone. Success in this position is measured by the ability to meet store sales targets, efficiently manage cash and transactions, and uphold store brand standards. The position requires active involvement in training sessions, compliance with safety protocols, and collaboration with the management team to drive operational efficiency.

General

• Maintain responsibility for designated store sections, ensuring displays and organization align with store standards.
• Process sales, exchanges, and refunds efficiently across all payment methods.
• Ensure that the shop floor and cash desk areas are replenished and kept tidy.
• Acknowledge and provide quality service to customers both face-to-face and over the phone.
• Organize and maintain stockroom standards to optimize efficiency.
• Develop knowledge of stocks and promotions actively to enhance selling capabilities.
• Cover responsibilities of the Head Cashier and Deputy Cashier when absent.
• Participate in training and development activities assigned by the line manager.
• Follow opening and closing cash desk procedures with complete efficiency.
• Attend all relevant training sessions concerning customer service and product knowledge.
• Ensure compliance with legal standards and that employees are trained in SOPs.
• Conduct self-assessment audits and devise action plans to address issues.
• Maintain good housekeeping standards to ensure safety throughout the store.
• Be aware of health and safety risks and practice safe work procedures.

• Excellent customer service skills with a focus on delivering quality experiences.
• Strong organizational skills to manage stockroom and shop floor efficiently.
• Ability to process transactions with speed and accuracy across various payment methods.
• Knowledge of health and safety practices to ensure a safe store environment.

• Previous experience in fashion retail or a customer service-focused environment.
• Experience in cash handling and strong numeracy skills.
• Passion for fashion and enthusiasm in a retail setting.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to articulate effectively.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
• Flexibility to work various shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Strong initiative and self-motivation.
• Energetic and enthusiastic demeanor.
