Overview Of The Role:

  • The Area Manager is responsible for leading and driving the performance of multiple stores within an assigned region, ensuring excellence in customer experience, operational standards, sales performance, and profitability. The role requires strong commercial acumen, leadership capability, and the ability to develop high-performing store teams while maintaining brand standards across all locations. The Area Manager will oversee financial performance, operational execution, people development, and strategic growth initiatives to achieve business objectives.


What You Will Do:

 

Profit Financial

 

  • Drive sales growth and profitability across all assigned stores and ensure achievement of regional sales and margin targets.
  • Monitor store performance through KPI analysis and implement action plans to maximize business results.
  • Review store P&L performance regularly and identify opportunities to improve revenue and control costs.
  • Ensure effective management of OPEX budgets, staffing costs, and operational expenses across the region.
  • Develop and implement commercial strategies to improve productivity, conversion rates, and average transaction value.
  • Monitor shrinkage levels and ensure adherence to loss prevention standards across all stores.


Commercial

 

  • Ensure consistent execution of visual merchandising standards across all stores.
  • Monitor stock availability, replenishment processes, and inventory accuracy to optimize sales opportunities.
  • Drive customer service excellence and ensure all stores deliver an exceptional brand experience.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to identify growth opportunities.
  • Lead the execution of promotional campaigns, product launches, and marketing initiatives.
  • Drive loyalty program participation and customer retention strategies across the region.

 

Process

 
  • Ensure all stores comply with company policies, SOPs, brand standards, and operational guidelines.
  • Conduct regular store visits and audits to evaluate operational effectiveness and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Monitor inventory management, stock movements, cash handling, and asset protection procedures.
  • Ensure accurate reporting and effective use of business systems to support decision-making.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with mall management and external stakeholders where applicable.

 

People

 

  • Lead, coach, and develop Store Managers to achieve business and people objectives.
  • Support succession planning and identify high-potential talent within the region.
  • Drive employee engagement initiatives and foster a positive, high-performance culture.
  • Conduct performance reviews and monitor development plans for direct reports.
  • Ensure effective onboarding, training, and continuous learning programs across all stores.
  • Promote collaboration, accountability, and adherence to company values and culture.

What Qualifies You For The Role:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum 7+ years of retail experience, including at least 3 years in a multi-store management role.
  • Proven experience managing multiple stores and leading large retail teams.
  • Strong understanding of retail operations, inventory management, merchandising, and financial controls.
  • Demonstrated success in driving sales, profitability, and customer satisfaction.
  • Strong people management and talent development capabilities.Proficiency in retail systems, reporting tools, and Microsoft Office applications.
