Overview Of The Role:

The Sales Associate plays a pivotal role in generating sales and enhancing customer satisfaction within the store environment. Success in this role requires a dynamic and friendly approach to customer service, contributing to operational duties to uphold store standards, and focusing on promoting sales and customer retention. The position demands adherence to dress codes, direct customer engagement, and maintaining store ambience, all contributing to the overall success of the retail operation.

What You Will Do:

Customer Service

• Creates a positive first impression for the customer through an energetic attitude and adhering to dress code.
• Greets customers immediately upon entering the store with a smile and sincere non-business-like greeting.
• Provides customers with current relevant information about the product.
• Provides quality service in the fitting rooms and follows up with customers in a timely manner.
• Sincerely thanks all customers for shopping as they exit the store and invites them back.

Sales

• Responsible for sales generation and delivering a positive customer experience.
• Attempts to add on to the sale during customer interactions.
• Offers gift cards and captures customer information in the database during sales transactions.

Operational Duties

• Creates a sparkling clean and organized environment by maintaining store standards and cleanliness.
• Maintains cash wrap cleanliness and provides efficient service.
• Participates in visual presentation standards and performs housekeeping duties as assigned by the store management team.

Required Skills To Be Successful:

• Strong interpersonal skills to create positive customer interactions.
• Ability to effectively communicate product information and store offerings.
• Proficient at maintaining store standards and visual presentation.
• Strong organizational skills for cash wrap management and database entry.

What Qualifies You For The Role:

• High School Degree or equivalent.
• 1-2 years of retail sales experience.
• Good verbal communication skills.
• Ability to stand for a minimum of 8 hours.
• Capable of performing some heavy lifting during operational tasks.
