Overview Of The Role:
- The Sales Engineer is responsible for driving revenue growth and market share by developing and executing robust sales strategies across key customer segments. This role demands a blend of business development acumen and relationship management skills to strengthen customer relationships and enhance brand positioning. The Sales Engineer will manage the sales cycle end-to-end, ensuring commercial and technical compliance while navigating market trends and regulatory landscapes. Success in this role is defined by maintaining a strategic sales pipeline, achieving sales targets, and fostering a collaborative cross-functional team environment.
What You Will Do:
Sales Strategy, Business Development & Revenue Growth
- Develop and execute sales plans to achieve revenue, order intake, unit sales, margin, and market-share targets.
- Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities across developers, contractors, consultants, architects, and key customer segments.
- Maintain a strong sales pipeline, develop strategic account plans, and drive customer retention, repeat business, and profitable growth.
- Monitor sales performance, forecasts, and conversion rates, implementing corrective actions where required.
Customer, Consultant & Market Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, consultants, contractors, developers, and other industry stakeholders.
- Strengthen brand positioning and lead product/vendor prequalification with consultants and customers.
- Understand customer requirements and proactively manage expectations relating to specifications, lead times, delivery schedules, and project milestones.
- Represent the business through customer meetings, presentations, industry events, and networking forums.
End-to-End Sales & Commercial Management
- Manage the complete sales cycle from lead generation and opportunity qualification through estimation, quotation, negotiation, order award, and project handover.
- Review tenders, specifications, drawings, commercial terms, contractual requirements, and customer expectations to ensure accurate and competitive proposals.
- Coordinate with estimation, engineering, operations, procurement, finance, and other functions to ensure technical and commercial compliance.
- Ensure pricing, margins, contractual commitments, risks, payment terms, and approvals are aligned with company governance and delegation of authority.
Market Intelligence, Product Knowledge & Regulatory Compliance
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, pricing, project pipelines, customer preferences, and emerging technologies within the elevator and escalator industry.
- Conduct structured analysis of won, lost, and cancelled opportunities to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Maintain strong knowledge of elevator and escalator products, applications, technical specifications, and industry developments.
- Remain current with applicable regulations, safety requirements, international standards, authority requirements, and industry best practices.
Sales Governance, Cross-Functional Coordination & Team Leadership
- Maintain accurate CRM records, sales forecasts, pipeline reports, customer interactions, and management reporting.
- Ensure seamless handover of awarded projects to operations and maintain coordination on critical customer commitments during project execution.
- Identify and escalate commercial, contractual, technical, credit, and execution risks associated with prospective opportunities.
- Lead, coach, and develop the sales team where applicable, promoting accountability, collaboration, customer focus, and a high-performance culture.
- Perform any other works assigned by superiors from time to time.

- Proficiency in managing CRM and maintaining accurate sales records.
What Qualifies You For The Role:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent.
- 5 to 7 years of core sales experience in the elevator industry.
- Established network and relationships with owners, developers, and contractors.
- Possession of a KSA Driving License.
