Overview of the role
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Head of Product Planning & Pricing to lead our team in Riyadh. This role is pivotal in shaping the future of our brand by formulating and executing innovative strategies for Product, Price, Place, and Promotion. You will ensure that the appropriate structures, systems, competencies, and values are in place to meet and exceed our goals for a fully integrated Planning & Pricing strategy for the BYD brands in the KSA.

 

What you will do

  • Establish and implement the BYD Brand Strategy in KSA to improve Brand Equity, market share, Customer Loyalty, and profit growth
  • Manage OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) relationships to ensure long-term success for both BYD and Al Futtaim through close collaboration and communication
  • Drive product life cycle activities, including positioning, packaging, and accessories, by influencing OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) product cycle plans and Al Futtaim Group resources/suppliers
  • Oversee the supply chain to maintain a healthy balance sheet with efficient stock management from factory order to final customer delivery
  • Develop strategic vehicle pricing for each segment/channel and ensure revenue management through competitive positioning, OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) support negotiations, and effective sales programs
  • Establish a BYD Customer Relationship Process to increase Customer Loyalty through a communication strategy that delivers an engaging ownership experience
  • Develop talent through coaching, technical skills roadmaps, and effective succession planning

 

Required skills to be successful

  • Bachelor's Degree (MBA Preferred) with demonstrated experience in broad aspects of Brand Management
  • Minimum 15 years of work experience in a multinational Marketing/Product Planning/Brand management environment in leading Automotive brands
  • Strategic and structured business, sales & marketing understanding - long term and short term
  • Experience in Product Planning, Pricing, B2C and B2B sales, and Advertising offline and online

You will be leading the Brand & Pricing team, working closely with various departments within the organization, including marketing, IT, and customer service. This role is critical to collaboration across Group companies to enhance future growth.
