Overview Of The Role:
The Facilities Engineer is responsible for managing integrated facilities management contracts, aiming to achieve customer satisfaction through efficient service delivery adhering to SLAs and KPIs. They will engage in financial oversight to reduce maintenance costs and ensure profitability while managing direct reports like technicians. Key responsibilities include AMC Management, preventive and corrective maintenance management, repair and refurbishment works, customer service enhancements, and ensuring quality, health, safety, and environmental standards. Employee engagement and development are also crucial to enhancing team performance.
What You Will Do:
AMC Management
- Execution of AMC/in-house services efficiently within budget and ensure profitability.
- Analyze and evaluate annual maintenance contract requirements, prepare HSE and operational risk assessment, and execute contract plans.
- Meet and report to clients regularly to maintain relationships and communication.
- Track contract progress to ensure SLAs and KPIs are met.
- Plan resources including manpower, materials, and subcontracted services for contracts.
- Manage takeover and handover of AMCs.
- Prepare and submit monthly and annual reports and invoices for AMCs.
Corrective/Reactive and Planned Preventive Maintenance
- Conduct site inspections, assess asset condition, and report on HSE and operational risks.
- Identify critical systems and ensure contingency plans are in place to prevent downtime.
- Prepare contract-specific PPM schedules and procedures.
- Efficiently execute and close corrective and reactive maintenance tasks, meeting SLAs and KPIs.
- Handle escalations and emergencies, resolve customer complaints, and prepare technical reports.
- Track and close all CRM work orders daily.
- Oversee subcontractors' maintenance contracts and ensure quality service.
Repair, Refurbishment Works
- Generate revenue from repair, replacement, and refurbishment works, achieving set targets.
- Assess assets for replacement needs and submit reports to customers.
- Prepare cost estimates and proposals for repair and refurbishment works.
- Execute casual jobs within budget ensuring profitability.
- Submit invoices on time and follow up on payments, liaising with clients on payment issues.
Customer Service
- Develop a customer-focused service, maintain a positive corporate image, and foster good client relations.
- Enhance customer satisfaction by meeting or exceeding requirements, SLAs, and KPIs.
- Report to and meet with clients regularly to maintain good rapport.
Quality, Health, Safety, Environment (QHSE)
- Contribute to safe systems of work and comply with safety standards.
- Implement HSE policy and safe operating procedures to prevent incidents.
- Ensure team has appropriate tools, tackle, and consumables.
- Achieve timely close-out of HSE actions and non-conformance reports.
Employee Engagement
- Conduct performance reviews, identify training needs, and arrange tools and resources for employees.
- Enhance employee engagement and team coordination for maximum productivity and satisfaction.
- Liaise with internal departments to maintain good working relations.
Required Skills To Be Successful:
- Strong leadership and management abilities to lead a team of technicians.
- Proficiency in maintenance of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
- Experience with CAFM systems and ability to manage commercial requirements like budgets, costs, and profitability.
- Excellent communication skills for clear interaction with clients, team members, and stakeholders.
What Qualifies You For The Role:
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering.
- 5-7 years of experience in facilities management, covering both hard and soft services.
- Proficiency in both English and Arabic, alongside computer and mechanical/electrical systems maintenance skills.
- KSA driving license and understanding of Health and Safety requirements.
