Overview of the role
We are seeking a dynamic Regional Head of Marine & Power Products to lead the growth and performance of Honda Marine & Power Products across the UAE, Qatar, and Oman. This role drives strategy, sales, aftersales, technical excellence, and operational performance across Marine Engines, Generators, and Energy Storage Systems (ESS). You will shape regional expansion, ensure profitability, elevate customer experience, and lead high-performing teams across multiple markets.

 

What you will do
•    Lead and execute the regional business strategy for Marine & Power Products.
•    Identify and develop market growth opportunities across all three categories.
•    Monitor industry trends, customer needs, and competitor movements, turning insights into actions.
•    Drive revenue, profitability, market share, and operational efficiency across sales and aftersales.
•    Manage strategic customer relationships, negotiations, and regional partnerships.
•    Ensure robust cost control, pricing discipline, and contribution margin optimization.
•    Lead and develop cross-functional teams across UAE, Qatar, and Oman.
•    Ensure high service quality through strong aftersales processes, SLAs, and customer satisfaction metrics.
•    Oversee inventory, supply chain planning, and forecasting accuracy.
•    Stay updated on new technical developments and lead technical capability-building.
•    Provide technical guidance for customer projects and product enhancement opportunities.
•    Support training initiatives to enhance technical and commercial competencies.
•    Ensure compliance with regulatory, safety, and quality standards across all locations.

 

Required skills to be successful
•    10+ years of experience in power generation, marine propulsion, battery systems, or energy storage sectors. Minimum 5 years in a leadership role managing regional operations or technical-commercial business units.
•    Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Marine Technology, Energy Systems, or a related technical field (MBA preferred).
•    Strong commercial acumen with proven experience in regional business leadership.
•    Deep technical understanding of power generation, marine propulsion, generators, and energy systems.

 

About the team
You will be part of Al-Futtaim Automotive’s Honda & Trading Enterprises division, working closely with multidisciplinary teams across Sales, Aftersales, Technical, Supply Chain, and Operations. The role oversees a total team size of 24 members, including 4 direct reports, and collaborates with colleagues across the UAE, Qatar, and Oman to deliver market-leading performance and customer satisfaction.
