Overview of the role

The Recovery Officer will support the recovery team in managing overdue accounts and ensuring timely collections. This role involves interacting with clients to negotiate payments, maintaining accurate records, and assisting with various recovery processes.

 

What you will do

•    Monitor and manage the Collection Efficiency Ratio for each age category to ensure it meets budgeted targets.
•    Monitor and follow up on impairment provisioning to ensure compliance with IFRS 9 requirements.
•    Prepare and present reports on collection efficiency and bad debt provisioning to senior management.
•    Maintain accurate records and documentation of collection activities.

 

What equips you for the role

•    GCE Advanced Level (A/L) qualification.
•    Two years of working experience in recovery field.
•    Strong communication skills in Sinhala and English and a proactive attitude.
•    Proficient in MS Office Package (MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint).
•    Valid driving license.
