HealthHub Clinics, part of Al-Futtaim Health, is seeking an experienced Phlebotomist to join our multidisciplinary team at HealthHub Dubai Festival City.

Located in one of Dubai’s premier lifestyle and residential destinations, HealthHub Dubai Festival City serves a diverse patient population across Family Medicine, Paediatrics, Internal Medicine, Women's Health, Specialist Services, Laboratory, Radiology, and Preventive Health Programs.

We are looking for a highly professional phlebotomist who is passionate about patient care, confident in blood collection procedures, and committed to delivering an exceptional patient experience.

Due to our patient demographics, candidates who are fluent in Arabic or Tagalog, alongside English, will be highly regarded.

About the Role

As a Phlebotomist, you will be responsible for performing safe, accurate, and efficient blood collection procedures while ensuring a positive patient experience.

You will work closely with physicians, nurses, laboratory teams, and patients to support diagnostic testing and preventative healthcare services.

This role is ideal for candidates who are technically skilled, patient-focused, and comfortable working within a busy outpatient healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities

Perform venepuncture and blood collection procedures for adult and paediatric patients.
Collect, label, process, and prepare specimens accurately.
Ensure proper specimen handling and transportation procedures.
Identify patients correctly and maintain patient confidentiality.
Support health screening and preventive healthcare programs.
Monitor patients during and after blood collection procedures.

Patient Care

Explain procedures clearly and professionally.
Reassure anxious patients and create a positive patient experience.
Maintain a calm, compassionate, and professional approach at all times.
Support patients from diverse cultural backgrounds.

Quality & Compliance

Follow DHA regulations and laboratory standards.
Adhere to infection prevention and control procedures.
Maintain accurate documentation and records.
Ensure quality assurance and patient safety standards are met.

Essential Requirements

DHA Licensed Phlebotomist or DHA Eligibility.
Minimum 2 years' experience as a Phlebotomist.
Strong venepuncture and specimen collection skills.
Experience performing blood collection independently.
Excellent patient communication and customer service skills.
Strong understanding of infection prevention and patient safety.
Fluent English communication skills.
Good computer literacy and documentation skills.

Highly Preferred

Arabic language skills.
Tagalog language skills.

Experience working with paediatric patients.
Experience performing difficult venous access procedures.
