Overview of the role
We are looking for a customer-focused and detail-oriented Parts Counter Sales Representative – Heavy Duty Trucks to join our Aftersales team in Dubai. This role plays a key part in supporting parts sales operations by assisting walk-in customers and ensuring they receive the right spare parts solutions for heavy-duty trucks and equipment.
You will be responsible for providing expert advice, identifying customer requirements, and driving parts sales while delivering a high level of customer satisfaction.
What you will do
- Assist walk-in customers in selecting the correct spare parts for heavy-duty trucks and related equipment
- Identify accurate part numbers using electronic parts catalogues (EPC) and systems
- Promote genuine parts and upsell related items or add-ons to enhance customer value
- Provide technical advice on replacement parts and benefits of using OEM components
- Manage customer enquiries and ensure timely processing of parts orders
- Follow up on back-orders and keep customers informed on delivery timelines
- Support Aftersales, workshop, and sales teams with parts quotations and order processing
Required skills to be successful
- Good knowledge of spare parts operations, preferably within heavy-duty trucks or commercial vehicles
- Strong customer handling and communication skills
- Ability to identify parts accurately using catalogues or digital systems
- Strong sales mindset with ability to upsell and cross-sell parts
- Good computer literacy including MS Office and ERP systems (SAP preferred)
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build customer relationships
About the team
You will be part of the Parts Operations team within FAMCO, supporting heavy-duty truck and equipment customers across the UAE. The team plays a critical role in ensuring parts availability, supporting workshop operations, and driving aftermarket revenue while delivering a consistent customer experience.
What equips you for the role
- Diploma or equivalent qualification
- Minimum 2 years of experience in automotive or equipment spare parts, preferably heavy-duty trucks, construction equipment, or industrial products
- Experience working within a dealership or parts distribution environment
- Knowledge of SAP or dealership management systems is an advantage
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
