JOB PURPOSE:

This purpose of this role is to assist Sr. Manager Parts to develop and expand genuine spare parts business at the dealerships.

The incumbent must be familiar with the aftermarket business in the automotive sector.

The job holder must be experienced in market research, surveys and planning.

 

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

 

Market Research and Planning:

  • Conduct research and analysis to identify specific, actionable insights to improve spare parts business.

  • Manage quantitative and qualitative research projects for the business.

  • Provide research and strategy support to business decision making and annual market and strategic planning.

  • Convey analysis and recommendations through presentations and reports to management.

Spare Parts Sales:

  • Measure and evaluate specific area/region business (KPI’s, trends gaps/opportunities, what’s working/not working). Recommend management for solutions where gaps exist and execute these solutions accordingly.  

  • Contribute to region-wise strategy in generating and developing business growth opportunities.

  • Drive and launch all new line items along with communicating the needs to sustain and improve spare parts sales.

  • Explore and understand complex customer requirements and challenges for spare parts sales on both business and technical level.

  • Keep accurate and complete information on nation-wide dealership wise sales.

  • Accurately calculate quotations and handle sales invoices for Multan region.

Dealer’s Parts Business Development:

  • Continue to strengthen AGTL dealers parts business development strategy.

  • Work with key dealers to create action plan aimed at improving their spare parts sales and service performance.

  • Measure dealer wise performance against regional and industry average to identify opportunities for added revenue.

  • Train and educate dealers on how to do business with AGTL and ensure that the dealers have a solid understanding of AGTL systems and processes.

  • Coach dealer owners, managers and staff on operational best practices related to spare parts sales and service.

Minimum Qualification:

  • MBA, Masters of Business Adminstration from a renowned university.

Minimum Experience and Knowledge:

  • Fresh, however experienced candidates shall be preferred.
  • Familiar of the technical processes involved and knowledge of industry.
  • Understanding of service business, aftersales operations and spare parts business in Pakistan.
  • Candidate must have a flexible attitude towards working hours as frequent travelling is required.
