Overview of the Role


We are seeking an experienced National Service Manager – Construction Equipment to lead and elevate our service operations across the Kingdom. This strategic role oversees Field Service, Workshop Operations, Warranty, PDI, and Service Contracts, ensuring operational excellence, customer satisfaction, and profitability. You will be responsible for enhancing service capabilities, driving productivity and utilization, and maintaining compliance with OEM and Al Futtaim standards. Working closely with regional aftersales teams, sales, and OEM partners, you will ensure seamless service delivery aligned with commercial objectives.


What You Will Do


Strategic & Operational Leadership
•    Develop national service capabilities, competencies, and a 3 year operational development plan.
•    Implement continuous improvement initiatives to elevate service standards across all regions.


Service Facilities & Fleet Development
•    Enhance workshop capabilities, contamination control, tooling, bench testing facilities, and field service fleet standards.


Service Sales Planning & Performance Management
•    Lead budgeting and forecasting for service revenue and margins.
•    Optimize resource allocation, labor utilization, pricing structures, and rebuild program flat rates.


Financial Management
•    Own the P&L for service operations and ensure achievement of financial targets.
•    Control WIP, warranty rejection rates, cost of sales, overtime utilization, and re-do job impact.


Organizational Development
•    Build and strengthen field service structure, CSA department, CRC, general bay operations, PDI teams, and technical training functions.


Process, Policy & Compliance Management
•    Develop and enforce internal workflows, TAT processes, warranty standards, and performance dashboards.
•    Lead internal and OEM audits and ensure HSSE standards are upheld across all operations.

•    Financial acumen with proven experience managing P&L and driving profitability.
•    Excellent planning, resource optimization, and operational improvement capabilities.

•    Strong teamwork, assertiveness, and ability to influence and drive change.

 

About the Team


You will be part of FAMCO’s Aftersales leadership team, working closely with the Head of Aftersales – KSA & Bahrain, Regional Aftersales Managers, and cross-functional partners in Sales, Operations, HSSE, and OEM representatives. The environment is dynamic, collaborative, and focused on delivering top-tier service excellence across all customer segments.

 

What Equips You for the Role


•    Bachelor’s degree in Automotive, Mechanical/Mechatronics Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
•    7–10 years of experience in heavy machinery service operations, including at least 3 years in a senior management role.
•    Strong knowledge of construction equipment systems and dealership environments.
•    Proficiency in dealership management systems (e.g., SAP).
•    Demonstrated achievements in operational improvement, team development, and customer satisfaction.
•    Behavioural strengths including integrity, analytical mindset, teamwork, planning & organizing, and high-quality communication.
