Overview Of The Role:
The Shopping Experience Assistant is responsible for enhancing customer service operations including Smaland, Self Scan, and the Info Desk. This role requires greeting customers, ensuring safety and operational efficiency within the playroom area, and supporting various customer service functions. Success in this position involves representing the IKEA brand and maintaining high store standards.
What You Will Do:
- Greet and welcome customers on arrival.
- Explain the Smaland admission policy in a friendly and professional manner.
- Ensure child safety is a priority in Smaland.
- Make announcements and page parents if there is any issue in the playroom area.
- Provide a safe environment for children within the area.
- Attend to all customer queries in a professional manner.
- Ensure shopping tools and catalogues are available for customers.
- Provide bags or trollies as appropriate.
- Support in self-scan when needed.
- Adhere to all system procedures as per policy or procedure.
- Brief the Duty Manager on complaints that require management assistance.
- Ensure all emergency procedures are adhered to.

What Qualifies You For The Role:
- High School diploma.
- First Aid qualification as per relevant country standards.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Proficiency in analytical skills and effective communication.
