JOB PURPOSE:  Managing IT for OMASCO and act as a focal point for ICT project and support activities for Al-Futtaim Group of companies in OMAN. 

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Specify the output required from the job. Identify not more than 7 Key Responsibilities.

 

Description: 

Infrastructure Support

  1. Infrastructure Support has been provided from OMASCO ( including Wintel Servers  and Network infrastructure)
  2. Remote branches and Head Office User support.
  3. Maintained and administered the entire system function & network
  4. Daily checking the backup of exchange/Files and monitoring the logs
  5.  Patches/AV updates on pc’s
  6. WAN/ MPLS  (Wide area networking ) Monitor and Support
  7. Coordinating with GBM for UPS/ IBM Servers Support function
  8. Managing IT Inventory
  9. Managing Data Center
  10. Managing Branch Issues
  11. Managing Vendor Contracts
  12. Managing Third party Contracts

 

Sap Support:

       

  1. Printer queue and Print Job monitoring
  2. Server Reported Error (Hardware/Software )
  3.  Unlocking and Resetting the password
  4.  Coordinating with Helpdesk and EIT for any errors and resolving the status.
  5. Audit Report coordination
  6. Monitoring TSM activities
  7. Service Request creation and Follow-up
  8. Induction Training and UAT
  9. Coordinating with GBM for SAP Hardware Issues and   Patches/ updates 
  10. Daily Backup check and Monitor and Support
  11. Coordinating with GBM for UPS/ IBM Servers Support function
