Overview of the role
The Manager – Training and Development is responsible for designing and executing strategic learning initiatives that enhance employee performance and support organizational growth. This role plays a key part in fostering a culture of continuous improvement and capability building within the automotive industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and manage comprehensive training programs tailored to technical, operational, and leadership development needs.
- Collaborate with department heads to identify skill gaps and training requirements across the organization.
- Develop competency frameworks and career development pathways for various roles.
- Evaluate training effectiveness and continuously improve learning strategies.
- Lead onboarding programs to ensure smooth integration of new hires.
- Manage external training vendors and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
- Promote a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.
- Collaborate with HR and department heads to align training with business goals.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in training and development, preferably within the automotive or manufacturing sector.
- Familiarity with digital learning platforms and LMS systems preferably SAP SuccessFactors.
Required skills to be successful
- Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with department heads, HR, and external vendors to identify and address training needs.
- Proficiency in assessing training effectiveness and using data-driven insights to enhance learning outcomes.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and leadership skills.
