• The Sales Associate Cum Cashier supports store objectives by delivering excellent customer service and maintaining sections of the store. This role ensures efficient processing of sales transactions, maintains merchandise presentation standards, and supports the cash desk operations. The associate is also accountable for compliance with store procedures and health and safety regulations. Success in this role is measured by the ability to meet sales targets, provide great customer experiences, and uphold operational efficiency in a dynamic retail environment.

Store Maintenance and Customer Service

• Maintain responsibility for designated sections of the store, keeping it organized and visually appealing.
• Acknowledge and provide quality service to customers face-to-face or over the phone.
• Follow and engage in training for customer services and product knowledge.
• Ensure the Cash desk areas are replenished and kept tidy throughout the day.

Sales and Transactions

• Process sales, exchanges, and refunds efficiently and accurately using all payment methods.
• Cover key responsibilities of the Head Cashier and Deputy Cashier in their absence.
• Ensure efficiency in following opening and closing cash desk procedures.

Stock Management

• Maintain excellent standards in the stockroom by organizing and arranging it efficiently.
• Continually develop stocks knowledge and promotions throughout the store.

Compliance and Health & Safety

• Ensure the store complies with legal resources and staff are knowledgeable and trained on compliance issues.
• Implement store self-assessments and plan action with the management team to ensure delivery.
• Maintain good housekeeping to prevent accidents and communicate with management about potential risks.
• Be aware of safe working practices and company safety procedures.

• Excellent customer service skills.
• Strong numeracy and literacy.
• Ability to work flexible hours and adapt to a dynamic retail environment.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

• Previous fashion retail experience and/or excellent customer service experience preferred.
• Previous cash handling experience desirable.
• Strong numeracy and literacy skills.
