• As a Sales Associate Cum Cashier at Inditex, your primary role is to support the store's objectives by delivering excellent customer service while maintaining designated sections or zones effectively. You will be responsible for handling transactions such as sales, exchanges, and refunds with accuracy and efficiency. Upholding standards in customer service ensures a positive customer experience which contributes to achieving sales targets. Your role also includes maintaining stockroom standards and participating in relevant training for continuous improvement in product knowledge and customer service.

Sales

• Maintain responsibility for one or several sections of the store as instructed by your Manager keeping a basic image of the area (folding and displaying).
• Process sales, exchanges, and refunds efficiently, accurately, and quickly in all payment methods.
• Ensures complete efficiency when following opening and closing cash desk procedures.

Customer Service

• Ensure that customers are acknowledged and receive quality services either face-to-face or over the telephone.
• Continually develop stocks knowledge and promotions throughout the store.
• Attend all relevant trainings pertaining to customer services and product knowledge.

Standards and Compliance

• Ensure good housekeeping standards are maintained on the shop floor and throughout all areas of the store.
• Ensure the Cash desk areas are replenished and kept tidy throughout the day.
• Ensure employees are knowledgeable and always updated on SOPs.
• Implement store self-assessment audits/reviews internal audit reports and devise action plans with the wider management team ensuring that actions are delivered.
• Be aware of the risks employees and customers are exposed to and be aware of safe work practices and company procedures to overcome them.

Stock Management

• Maintain excellent standards in the stockroom by organizing and arranging the stockroom efficiently.
• Cover key responsibilities of the Head Cashier and Deputy Cashier in their absence.

• Strong initiative and self-motivation.
• Articulate with good communication skills.
• Energetic and enthusiastic disposition.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Previous experience in fashion retail and/or in delivering excellent customer service is preferred.
• Previous experience in cash handling is desirable.
• Strong numerate and literacy skills are required.
• Must have flexibility to work varied hours including nights, weekends, and holidays.
