• The Sales Associate cum Cashier is responsible for supporting the store's objectives by delivering superior customer service and ensuring efficient store operations. The role involves maintaining high standards in designated store sections, processing transactions effectively, and adhering to compliance protocols and health and safety guidelines. Success in this role is measured by the ability to provide an excellent customer experience and contribute to achieving store sales targets.

Sales

• Maintain responsibility for designated sections of the store, ensuring visual standards are met through folding and displaying.
• Process sales, exchanges, and refunds efficiently across all payment methods.
• Ensure customers receive quality services either face-to-face or over the telephone.
• Continually develop stock knowledge and promote in-store promotions.

Store Operations

• Ensure good housekeeping standards on the shop floor and cash desk areas throughout the day.
• Maintain excellent standards in the stockroom by efficiently organizing and arranging stock.
• Cover responsibilities of Head Cashier and Deputy Cashier in their absence.
• Follow and engage in training and development sessions as set by your line manager.

Compliance and Health & Safety

• Ensure the store is adequately resourced and compliant with legal standards.
• Keep employees informed and trained on SOPs, ensuring compliance throughout.
• Implement store self-assessment audits and action plans.
• Maintain good housekeeping in all store areas and manage health and safety risks.

• Exceptional customer service skills.
• Ability to process financial transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Strong organizational skills, particularly in stockroom management.
• Capability to operate both independently and within a team.

• Previous experience in fashion retail or excellent customer service.
• Strong numeracy and literacy skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Flexibility to work varied hours including nights, weekends, and holidays.
