• The Sales Associate Cum Cashier is responsible for providing excellent customer service that aligns with store needs while ensuring sections/zones of the store are effectively maintained. This role supports achieving store sales targets and delivering a great customer experience. Responsibilities include handling customer transactions, maintaining display standards, and adhering to compliance related to store operations. Success in this position requires teamwork, initiative, and a passion for fashion.

Customer Service

• Deliver excellent customer service in line with store needs.
• Ensure that customers are acknowledged and receive quality services either face to face or over the telephone.
• Follow and engage in training and development related to customer service and product knowledge.

Cash Handling

• Process sales, exchanges, and refunds efficiently, accurately, and quickly in all payment methods.
• Ensure complete efficiency when following opening and closing cash desk procedures.
• Cover key responsibilities of the Head Cashier and Deputy Cashier in their absence.

Store Maintenance

• Maintain responsibility for one or several sections of the store as instructed by your Manager, ensuring folding and displaying.
• Ensure good housekeeping standards are maintained on the shop floor and that Cash desk areas are replenished and kept tidy.
• Maintain excellent standards in the stockroom by organizing and arranging the stock efficiently.

Compliance and Safety

• Ensure the store is adequately resourced across compliance areas and employees are knowledgeable about SOPs.
• Implement store self-assessment audits and devise action plans with management.
• Maintain good housekeeping throughout the store and communicate with senior management in case of accidents.
• Be aware of risks employees and customers are exposed to and safe work practices to overcome them.

• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

• Previous fashion retail experience and/or excellent customer service experience preferred.
• Previous cash handling experience desirable.
• Strong numerate and literacy skills.
• Passion for fashion, energetic, and enthusiastic.
• Articulate with good communication skills.
• Good interpersonal skills with strong initiative and self-motivation.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work varied hours including nights, weekends, and holidays.
