• The Sales Associate Cum Cashier role is critical in achieving store objectives by delivering excellent customer service and maintaining orderly store sections. The associate supports sales processes efficiently and ensures compliance with legal and safety standards. The position requires strong organizational skills, product knowledge, and the ability to interact positively with customers and team members. Success in this role involves contributing to store sales targets through effective customer interaction and stock management.

Store Section Management

• Maintain responsibility for assigned sections, keeping them organized and aesthetically pleasing.
• Ensure good housekeeping standards, keeping sales floor tidy.
• Organize and maintain stockroom efficiently.

Customer Service

• Deliver excellent customer service face-to-face and over the telephone.
• Acknowledge all customers and provide high-quality services.
• Address customer inquiries and assist with selections and purchases.

Cash Management

• Process sales, exchanges, and refunds swiftly and accurately.
• Ensure complete efficiency in opening and closing cash desk procedures.
• Cover key responsibilities of Head Cashier and Deputy Cashier in their absence.

Compliance and Standards

• Ensure compliance with legal requirements and company SOPs.
• Conduct store self-assessment audits and develop action plans with management.
• Maintain health and safety standards throughout the store.
• Communicate with senior management about any incidents or accidents.

Training and Development

• Continually develop stock knowledge and sales promotions.
• Follow managerial guidance and participate in designated training programs.

• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Strong organizational ability and attention to detail.
• Ability to efficiently manage cash transactions and processes.
• High level of flexibility and adaptability in a retail environment.

• Previous experience in fashion retail or excellent customer service experience is preferred.
• Strong numeracy and literacy skills with cash handling experience desirable.
• Passion for fashion and energetic demeanour.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with strong initiative and self-motivation.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Flexible availability to work varied hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
