• The Sales Associate Cum Cashier plays a vital role in supporting store objectives by delivering excellent customer service and maintaining designated sections of the store. This position is responsible for processing transactions, ensuring the store and stockroom are organized, and assisting with compliance and safety standards. Success in this role is measured by efficient sales processing, customer satisfaction, stockroom organization, and adherence to store policies. The role requires flexibility, ability to work independently, and collaboration with the management team to achieve sales targets.

General

• Maintain responsibility for one or several sections of the store by keeping a basic image of the area through folding and displaying products.
• Process sales, exchanges, and refunds efficiently, accurately, and quickly in all payment methods.
• Ensure good housekeeping standards are maintained on the shop floor and that the cash desk areas are replenished and kept tidy throughout the day.
• Acknowledge customers and deliver quality service face to face or over the phone.
• Maintain excellent standards in the stockroom by organizing and arranging stock efficiently.
• Develop knowledge of stocks and promotions throughout the store.
• Cover key responsibilities of the Head Cashier and Deputy Cashier in their absence.
• Follow and engage in relevant training and development as set by your line manager.
• Ensure efficiency when following opening and closing cash desk procedures.
• Attend all relevant trainings pertaining to customer services and product knowledge.
• Ensure store compliance with legal resource requirements and maintain thorough knowledge of compliance issues.
• Knowledgeably and promptly respond to compliance and SOP updates and audits.
• Maintain and communicate good housekeeping standards and address any accidents to senior management.
• Anticipate risks to employees and customers, ensuring awareness of safe work practices and company procedures.

• Proven ability in efficient sales processing.
• Strong customer service skills that enhance the shopping experience.
• Effective communication skills both face-to-face and over the phone.
• Ability to maintain organized and efficient stockroom operations.

• Previous experience in fashion retail or excellent customer service experience is preferred.
• Desirable previous cash handling experience showcasing strong numeracy and literacy skills.
• Passion for fashion and articulateness in communication.
• Energetic and enthusiastic demeanor, paired with good interpersonal skills.
• Strong initiative and self-motivation with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Flexibility to work varied hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
