• The Sales Associate Cum Cashier is responsible for supporting store objectives through stellar customer service, efficient cash handling, and effective maintenance of store sections. This role requires an energetic and enthusiastic individual who can maintain excellent stockroom and display standards while ensuring a pleasant shopping experience for customers. Success in this role involves meeting store sales targets and fostering customer loyalty.

Retail Operations

• Maintain responsibility for one or several sections of the store, ensuring a neat and organized presentation.
• Process sales, exchanges, and refunds efficiently in all payment methods.
• Maintain excellent standards in the stockroom by organizing and arranging stock efficiently.
• Ensure good housekeeping standards are maintained on the shop floor and cash desk areas.
• Cover key responsibilities of the Head Cashier and Deputy Cashier in their absence.
• Follow opening and closing cash desk procedures with efficiency.

Customer Service

• Deliver excellent customer service, acknowledging and assisting customers face to face or over the phone.
• Develop knowledge of products and promotions to enhance customer experience.
• Attend all relevant training sessions on customer service and product knowledge.

Compliance and Safety

• Ensure the store complies with legal requirements and employees understand SOPs.
• Implement and act on internal audit findings, collaborating with management to develop action plans.
• Maintain health and safety standards throughout the store, communicating with management regarding accidents and safety risks.

• Excellent customer service skills with a focus on delivering quality experiences.
• Strong organizational skills to maintain standards in stockroom and sales areas.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.
• Flexibility to adapt to varied schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

• Previous experience in fashion retail or excellent customer service roles is preferred.
• Cash handling experience and strong numeracy and literacy skills are desirable.
• A passion for fashion and strong articulation with good communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team, with flexibility for varied work hours.
