• The Sales Associate Cum Cashier is responsible for supporting the store's objectives by delivering excellent customer service and maintaining designated store sections. They play a critical role in efficient sales processing, maintaining good housekeeping standards, and ensuring compliance with store policies. The position requires flexibility, enthusiasm, and a proactive approach to achieving sales targets and enhancing the customer experience.

General

• Maintain responsibility for assigned sections of the store, ensuring areas are tidy and well-presented.
• Process sales, exchanges, and refunds efficiently with all payment methods.
• Ensure the cash desk areas are replenished and kept neat throughout the day.
• Provide quality customer service face-to-face and over the telephone.
• Maintain organized and efficient stockroom standards.
• Develop extensive stock knowledge and promote throughout the store.
• Cover responsibilities of Head Cashier and Deputy Cashier in their absence.
• Follow and engage in relevant training and development provided by management.
• Ensure efficiency in opening and closing cash desk procedures.

Training & Development

• Attend all relevant trainings related to customer service and product knowledge.

Compliance and Standards

• Ensure the store is adequately resourced and compliant with legal standards.
• Review internal audit reports and assist in developing action plans with management.
• Ensure staff are knowledgeable about Store SOPs.

Health and Safety

• Maintain good housekeeping and safety practices throughout the store.
• Communicate with senior management in case of accidents.
• Be aware of and promote safe work practices and company procedures.

• Strong customer service skills.
• Ability to efficiently handle cash and process transactions.
• Knowledge of retail and fashion trends.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Previous experience in fashion retail or customer service is preferred.
• Prior cash handling experience is desirable.
• Strong numeracy and literacy skills are essential.
• Passion for fashion and excellent communication skills are required.
• Good interpersonal skills with the ability to work both independently and in a team.
• Energetic and enthusiastic with strong self-motivation and initiative.
• Flexibility to work varied hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
