• The Sales Associate Cum Cashier is tasked with delivering excellent customer service aligned with store needs, aiming to meet sales targets and ensuring a great customer experience. The role involves handling sales transactions and maintaining the designated sections, ensuring the effective display and organization of merchandise. The individual will also be involved in maintaining the stockroom and training to improve customer service and product knowledge.

General

• Maintain responsibility for one or several sections of the store as instructed by your Manager, ensuring basic image maintenance through proper folding and displaying.
• Process sales, exchanges, and refunds efficiently, accurately, and quickly in all payment methods.
• Ensure high housekeeping standards on the shop floor are maintained when required, and keep the Cash desk areas replenished and tidy throughout the day.
• Acknowledge customers and provide quality service either face to face or over the telephone.
• Maintain excellent standards in the stockroom by organizing and arranging the stock efficiently.
• Continually develop knowledge of stocks and promotions throughout the store.
• Cover key responsibilities of the Head Cashier and Deputy Cashier in their absence.
• Ensure complete efficiency when following opening and closing cash desk procedures.

Training & Development

• Engage in all relevant trainings pertaining to customer service and product knowledge as set by your line manager.

Standards & Compliance

• Ensure compliance with all legal requirements and adequate resourcing across the store areas involving compliance.
• Ensure that all employees are knowledgeable and regularly updated on SOPs.
• Implement store self-assessment audits and review internal audit reports, devising action plans with the wider management team to ensure actions are delivered.

Health and Safety

• Maintain good housekeeping standards throughout all areas of the store and communicate with senior management in case of any accidents.
• Be aware of the risks employees and customers are exposed to and ensure safe work practices and company procedures are followed to overcome them.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Flexibility to work varied hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Strong initiative and self-motivation.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

• Previous experience in fashion retail or excellent customer service experience preferred.
• Previous cash handling experience desirable.
• Strong numeracy and literacy skills.
• Love and passion for fashion.
