Overview Of The Role:
- The Boutique Supervisor assists and supports the Boutique Manager in the efficient running of the store aligned with company objectives. This role ensures brand compliance and supervises staff activities to enhance teamwork and customer service. The Supervisor drives sales by engaging with the team on metrics and service improvements, ensures adherence to SOPs, and maintains a safe and compliant store environment.
What You Will Do:
Sales
- Lead by example in delivering exceptional customer service.
- Resolve and manage customer requests, comments, and complaints.
- Review and analyze sales figures to identify opportunities for sales performance improvements.
- Challenge the team to enhance performance using relevant retail metrics.
- Schedule monthly and daily planning based on sales trends and store needs.
- Maintain and communicate budget awareness to senior management.
Commercial & Visual Merchandising
- Ensure store image standards and implement impactful commercial events.
- Apply VM elements to highlight merchandise and create customer awareness.
Stock Management
- Follow SOPs related to stock management including shipment receiving, cycle count, and transfers.
- Ensure proper stock replenishment and communicate with Commercial and Merchandiser for best sellers.
- Regularly review top and bottom selling lines to maximize store sales.
Service
- Actively demonstrate and model excellent service standards.
- Respond to customer complaints with a priority on customer satisfaction.
- Collect and use feedback to drive service improvements in the store.
Standards and Compliance
- Ensure legal compliance across all store areas with knowledgeable and trained staff.
- Implement internal audits and review reports to devise action plans.
- Conduct weekly health and safety reviews to maintain a safe trading environment.
Loss Prevention
- Be vigilant against theft and ensure adherence to cash management procedures.
- Carry out routine checks for stock discrepancies and potential theft areas.
- Possess high integrity in following security procedures.
People Management
- Support store manager to implement company policies for managing absence and disciplinary issues.
- Engage with employees to build a strong working relationship and promote good communication.
- Develop and coach new hires in sales and cashier roles.
Costs Control
- Support store manager to deliver shrinkage targets through effective stock management.
- Assist in managing cost improvement plans to enhance store profitability.
Required Skills To Be Successful:
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate a team.
- Excellent customer service management and complaint resolution.
- Proficiency in sales analytics and performance measurement.
- Demonstrated ability in visual merchandising and commercial planning.
What Qualifies You For The Role:
- Graduate Degree in a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years retail experience, preferably in fashion brands.
- Motivated with strong leadership and customer management abilities.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
