Overview Of The Role:

  • The role involves delivering excellent customer service to achieve store sales targets and providing a great customer experience. The job includes maintaining specific sections of the store, processing transactions, and ensuring high standards of housekeeping. Additionally, the role requires compliance with health and safety norms, as well as following store operational procedures.

What You Will Do:

Store Responsibilities


  • Maintain responsibility for one or several sections of the store as instructed by the Manager, ensuring they are well-organized, with items folded and displayed neatly.
  • Process sales, exchanges, and refunds efficiently and accurately using all payment methods, ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure good housekeeping standards are maintained on the shop floor, with Cash desk areas replenished and kept tidy throughout the day.

Customer Service


  • Acknowledge customers promptly and provide high-quality service both in person and over the phone to enhance the customer experience.
  • Develop comprehensive knowledge of store stocks and current promotions to better assist customers.

Stockroom Management


  • Maintain high standards in the stockroom by efficiently organizing and arranging stock to facilitate easy access.

Compliance and Standards


  • Ensure all employees are knowledgeable about current SOPs and keep them updated on any changes.
  • Implement self-assessment audits and review internal audit reports, devising action plans to address any issues with the management team.

Health and Safety


  • Maintain optimal housekeeping throughout all store areas and report any accidents to senior management promptly.
  • Be aware of the risks faced by both employees and customers, and follow safe work practices and company procedures to mitigate them.


Required Skills To Be Successful:

  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage customers effectively.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage store sections and stock efficiently.
  • Ability to process sales transactions swiftly and accurately.
  • Knowledge of health and safety practices in a retail environment.

What Qualifies You For The Role:

  • Previous experience in fashion retail or proven excellent customer service experience.
  • Passion for fashion and a strong interest in retail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Energetic, enthusiastic, and self-motivated individual able to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work various hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
