• The role of Part-time (Casual) Sales Assistant in Inditex involves supporting the store's objectives by delivering excellent customer service. The assistant is responsible for maintaining the designated sections or zones in the store, ensuring a clean and welcoming environment. Success in this role involves efficient handling of sales, exchanges, and refunds, as well as maintaining stockroom standards and developing product knowledge. The position requires flexibility in working hours, including night shifts, weekends, and holidays, to meet the needs of the store. The role is instrumental in achieving store sales targets and providing a great customer experience, combined with adherence to health, safety, and compliance standards.

General

• Maintain responsibility for one or several sections of the store as instructed by your Manager, ensuring a tidy and visually appealing image of the area.
• Process sales, exchanges, and refunds efficiently, accurately, and quickly across all payment methods.
• Ensure good housekeeping standards are maintained on the shop floor and that Cash desk areas are replenished and kept tidy throughout the day.
• Acknowledge customers and deliver quality service either face-to-face or over the telephone.
• Maintain excellent standards in the stockroom by organizing and arranging stock efficiently.
• Develop knowledge of store products and promotions continuously.
• Ensure employees are knowledgeable and updated on standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Implement store self-assessment audits and reviews of internal audit reports; devise and action plans with the management team.
• Maintain awareness of health and safety risks and safe work practices.
• Communicate with senior management in case of accidents and ensure housekeeping standards are upheld.

• Excellent customer service skills to ensure high customer satisfaction.
• Ability to process transactions efficiently and accurately across multiple payment methods.
• Strong organizational skills to maintain stockroom standards and ensure efficient store operation.
• Effective communication skills to interact with customers and collaborate with store team members.

• Previous experience in fashion retail or excellent customer service experience is preferred.
• Passion for fashion, demonstrating enthusiasm and energy.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work varied hours including nights, weekends, and holidays.
