• The role of a Part-Time (Casual) staff member involves supporting store objectives by delivering excellent customer service and ensuring effective maintenance of designated sections. You will be responsible for multiple aspects of store operations, including sales transactions, customer service, stock management, and compliance with store standards. Success in this role requires flexibility, effective communication, and the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively to achieve store sales targets and enhance the customer experience.

Sales

• Maintain responsibility for sections of the store, ensuring items are folded and displayed consistently.
• Process sales, exchanges, and refunds efficiently in all payment methods.
• Develop and maintain knowledge of stocks and promotions throughout the store.

Customer Service

• Deliver excellent customer service both face-to-face and over the telephone.
• Ensure customers are acknowledged promptly and receive quality service.

Housekeeping and Stock Management

• Maintain high housekeeping standards throughout the shop floor and cash desk areas.
• Organize and arrange the stockroom efficiently.
• Communicate with management team about housekeeping issues or accidents.

Compliance and Standards

• Ensure employees are knowledgeable and updated on Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Implement store self-assessment audits and devise action plans with management.

Health and Safety

• Maintain awareness of safety risks to employees and customers.
• Communicate safety practices and procedures.

• Excellent customer service skills.
• Strong communication abilities.
• Knowledge of stock management and promotions.
• Flexibility in scheduling and adaptability to varied work hours.

• Previous fashion retail experience and/or excellent customer service experience preferred.
• Love and/or passion for fashion.
• Articulate with good communication skills.
• Energetic and enthusiastic with strong initiative and self-motivation.
• Good interpersonal skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work varied hours including nights, weekends, and holidays.
