Overview Of The Role:
- The Part-Time (Casual) role supports the store's objectives by providing excellent customer service and ensuring the effective maintenance of designated sections or zones within the store. The position involves handling various tasks such as sales processing, stockroom management, and customer interaction, all of which contribute to achieving store sales targets and delivering a high-quality customer experience.
What You Will Do:
General
- Maintain responsibility for one or several sections of the store by folding and displaying merchandise to keep a basic image of the area.
- Process sales, exchanges, and refunds efficiently, accurately, and quickly in all payment methods.
- Ensure that good housekeeping standards are maintained on the shop floor, and that the Cash desk areas are replenished and kept tidy throughout the day.
- Acknowledge customers and provide quality services either face to face or over the telephone.
- Maintain excellent standards in the stockroom by organizing and arranging inventory efficiently.
- Continuously develop knowledge of stocks and promotions throughout the store.
- Ensure employees are knowledgeable and always updated on Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Implement store self-assessment audits, review internal audit reports, and devise action plans with the management team to ensure actions are delivered.
- Maintain good housekeeping throughout all store areas and communicate with senior management in case of accidents.
- Be aware of the risks employees and customers are exposed to and follow safe work practices and company procedures to mitigate them.
Required Skills To Be Successful:
- Excellent customer service skills, both in-person and over the phone.
- Efficient processing of sales, exchanges, and refunds across all payment methods.
- Ability to maintain and organize stockroom and store areas effectively.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
What Qualifies You For The Role:
- Previous experience in fashion retail or customer service is preferred.
- A love or passion for fashion, coupled with the ability to convey this enthusiasm to customers.
- Articulate with good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrates energy, enthusiasm, and strong initiative with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Flexibility in working varied hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
