Overview Of The Role:
- The Operations Executive is responsible for overseeing various functions within the retail environment, ensuring that store operations align with company standards and policies. The role involves managing RFID processes, organizing stockrooms and shopfloor operations, upholding compliance standards, and maintaining health and safety standards. The Operations Executive works to enhance customer service and operational efficiency, supporting the store manager in achieving organizational goals.
What You Will Do:
RFID Management
- Understand the general concept of RFID, including RFID Identity and RFID Reading.
- Explain the six benefits of RFID such as Customer Service, Sale/Return, Inventory, Camion, Replenishment, and Security.
Stockroom and Shopfloor Organization
- Manage RFID Movement and transfer to stockroom efficiently, knowing when, how, and where to operate.
- Organize the stockroom efficiently by categorizing stock according to family and styles.
- Process overstock and handle faulty items effectively.
Standards and Compliance
- Ensure the store complies with all legal requirements and that staff are knowledgeable about compliance issues.
- Conduct store self-assessment audits, review internal audit reports, and devise action plans with the management team.
- Ensure employees are updated on Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Health and Safety
- Maintain good housekeeping across all areas of the store.
- Communicate with senior management in case of accidents.
- Be aware of risks to employees and customers, promote safe work practices, and follow company procedures to mitigate risks.
Required Skills To Be Successful:
- Strong understanding of RFID systems and their benefits.
- Excellent organizational skills for managing stockroom and shopfloor.
- Knowledge of compliance standards and ability to conduct audits.
- Awareness of health and safety practices in a retail environment.
What Qualifies You For The Role:
- Previous experience in retail operations is preferred.
- Articulate communication skills with proficiency in English.
- Energetic and enthusiastic personality.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work varied hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
