JOB PURPOSE:

 

To provide analytical / commercial / Information support to both FAMCO and Al Futtaim Group Management team, to contribute to performance reviews / operational decision making and improvement plans in meeting the company profitability & financial objectives. Support growth and strategy.

 

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES: Specify the output required from the job. Identify not more than 7 Key Accountabilities & their performance indicators. NB-Focus on outcomes not tasks

 

Budgeting and Forecast

Responsible for preparation of Annual Budgets and Periodic Forecasts.

 

MIS and Management reporting: 

  • Preparation of daily/weekly/monthly management reports and presentation for management board.
  • Reporting and analysis for each division and branch.
  • Support Management in divisional performance reviews and variance analysis
  • Co-ordinate and support Finance Team in GL review and accounting related issues.
  • Review, manage and process incentives.

 

Working Capital and Cashflow

  • Review and advise Finance Head in all aspects of working capital planning by analysing data and validating underlying assumptions.
  • Prepare monthly cash flow’s and forecasting based on assumptions.

 

Commercial Support:

  • Provide analytical support in evaluating pricing for specific deals.
  • Support the business in aspects of Stock and Receivables analysis.
  • To support and advise in capex and project evaluation.
  • Assist Rental division directly with all financial aspects

 

Financial Accounting

 

  • Year end audit support to the finance team to ensure timely completion.
  • Assisting finance team to ensure all round development and understanding.

 

System and process Development

  • Advice and support business units in system and process development for new initiatives and existing process improvements.
  • SAP user and a key project member in group reporting updates.

 

 

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS:

 

Qualifications and Knowledge: CA & ACCA with Bachelor’s degree in Accounting

Minimum Experience: 3 Years

Job-Specific Skills: Strong accounting knowledge, analytical, advanced systems skills in particular MS Excel and ERP. Ability to manage and understand a large, complex, multi branded business. Good communication skills and team player, ability to work off own initiative,

Behavioural Competencies: able to plan & prioritise tasks; initiative; self starter; strong team player, positive can do attitude
