Overview Of The Role:
The Senior Performance Manager role is pivotal in supporting Al-Futtaim Logistics' strategic and transformation initiatives, focusing on leveraging data analytics, digitalization, and AI-driven insights. The position works closely with the Head of Logistics Strategy & Transformation to translate the strategic agenda into actionable programs, driving cross-functional collaboration for effective governance and delivery of transformation projects across the Logistics division. This role demands strong stakeholder management, analytical acumen, and familiarity with emerging digital and AI technologies. The incumbent ensures strategic alignment across various business units in the UAE and international markets, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
What You Will Do:
Logistics Strategy
- Support the formulation and implementation of the logistics strategy in alignment with the division's priorities.
- Utilize AI-powered analytics and forecasting tools to support data-driven decision-making and strategic planning.
- Conduct market research and scenario modelling using advanced data and AI insights to identify business growth opportunities.
- Assist in evaluating new business models driven by emerging technologies such as AI, connected vehicles, and mobility solutions.
- Prepare strategic reports, dashboards, and presentations using data visualization and AI-based reporting tools.
Logistics Transformation
- Support the design and execution of transformation programs integrating AI, automation, and digital optimization initiatives.
- Partner with business units and IT teams to identify and implement AI-based process improvements.
- Drive transformation project planning, tracking, and performance monitoring including milestones, budgets, and dependencies.
- Facilitate alignment across project teams and ensure AI and digital initiatives are embedded into transformation priorities.
- Support change management efforts to drive digital and AI adoption across the organization.
Logistics PMO
- Work with the Group PMO and Digital teams to monitor and track AI-led and automation-related initiatives.
- Ensure governance, compliance, and ethical use of AI tools within transformation projects.
- Develop reports on ROI, efficiency gains, and outcomes of AI-driven transformation programs.
Required Skills To Be Successful:
- Ability to translate complex data into actionable insights, perform scenario modelling, and support strategic decision-making using analytics and AI tools.
- Practical understanding of AI, automation, data visualization, and digital technologies within logistics and supply chain environments.
- Strong ability to influence, align, and coordinate across business units, IT, and PMO teams to drive transformation initiatives.
- Capability to structure initiatives, track milestones, manage dependencies, and measure ROI and performance outcomes of transformation programs.
What Qualifies You For The Role:
- A business or technical university degree is preferred.
- 6-8 years of experience in strategy, transformation, or digital initiatives, ideally in the Logistics or related industry.
- Proven experience with data analytics, AI implementation, or digital transformation projects.
- Certification in Project Management, Digital Transformation, or AI (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, Google AI Essentials, or equivalent) is an advantage.
