Job Description:
The Head of Eastern Region – Sales is responsible for leading and driving sales performance across the Eastern Region, achieving revenue targets, expanding market share, and managing relationships with key clients and brokers. The role ensures alignment with company strategy and compliance with regulatory requirements within the Saudi insurance sector.
What you will do
1. Sales Strategy & Execution
- Develop and implement regional sales strategies aligned with overall business objectives.
- Drive achievement of sales targets across all insurance lines (motor, medical, property, etc.).
- Identify growth opportunities within the Eastern Region market.
2. Team Leadership & Management
- Lead, manage, and motivate the regional sales team.
- Set performance targets and monitor team productivity.
- Recruit, train, and develop sales staff to build a high-performing team.
3. Business Development
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, brokers, and corporate accounts.
- Identify and secure new business opportunities and partnerships.
- Represent the company at industry events and client meetings.
4. Broker & Channel Management
- Manage relationships with brokers and intermediaries.
- Ensure effective distribution strategies across all channels.
- Support brokers with product knowledge and sales initiatives.
5. Sales Performance Monitoring
- Track sales performance against targets and KPIs.
- Analyze sales data and market trends to optimize strategies.
- Prepare regular performance reports for senior management.
6. Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with underwriting, claims, and marketing teams to ensure smooth service delivery.
- Provide market feedback to support product development and pricing strategies.
7. Customer Relationship Management
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
- Handle key client escalations and ensure timely resolution.
8. Regulatory Compliance
- Ensure all sales activities comply with regulations issued by Saudi Central Bank.
- Maintain adherence to internal policies and ethical sales practices.
Required Skills to be successful
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, or related field.
- Minimum 10+ years of experience in sales within the insurance industry.
- At least 5 years in a leadership role in Saudi Arabia.
- Strong experience in managing corporate and broker channels in the Eastern Region.
