Overview of the role:

The primary purpose of this role is to ensure compliance with Health, Safety, Security, and Environmental (HSSE) standards while managing facilities across AFL automotive logistics operations, including yards, warehouses, and offices, in line with Al-Futtaim policies and KSA regulations. The role oversees maintenance, safety, and operational readiness of all infrastructure, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. It includes managing procurement processes and coordinating with GPD for supplier and contractor selection. The position ensures effective preventive maintenance, utilities management, and adherence to labor and safety regulations, including leading incident investigations.

What you will do:

• Implement and monitor HSSE policies in alignment with Al-Futtaim Group standards
• Conduct risk assessments and ensure effective preventive and corrective maintenance programs
• Ensure compliance with KSA labor laws and safety regulations
• Monitor environmental compliance, including waste management, oil spill control, and emissions
• Manage maintenance of yard infrastructure (fencing, internal roads, parking bays), warehouses, offices, and utilities (power, lighting, HVAC where applicable)
• Supervise contractors and service providers to ensure quality and compliance
• Maintain accurate HSSE documentation, permits, and reporting systems

Required skills to be successful:

• Strong knowledge of HSSE standards, risk assessment, and regulatory compliance in KSA
• Effective facility and maintenance management across warehouses, yards, and utilities
• Solid vendor and contractor management with procurement coordination skills
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and ability to manage operations under pressure

What Equips You For The Role:

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety; Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, or Industrial) is preferred
• NEBOSH International General Certificate or equivalent certification
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role
• Strong knowledge of local safety, security, and regulatory requirements
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with strong planning abilities and the capacity to perform effectively under pressure
