Role Purpose

The role provides high-trust, high-impact coordination support to Mr. Abu Bakr Al Futtaim. The role is designed for a confident, socially intelligent individual who can listen carefully, read situations, act decisively, and solve problems in real time. The role is not about language but about social behavior.

This is not a traditional finance or administrative role role. Success depends on judgement, behavior, responsiveness, and execution—the ability to engage with people at all levels, manage time flawlessly, and translate conversations into action.

Key Accountabilities

Executive & Stakeholder Interaction

  • Engage confidently with senior leaders, stakeholders, and teams at all levels.
  • Listen actively, understand context quickly, and respond appropriately in the moment.
  • Represent the office of Mr. Abu Bakr Al Futtaim with professionalism, confidence, and strong social awareness.

Real-Time Action & Problem Solving

  • Translate discussions into clear actions, priorities, and next steps—often on the spot.
  • Anticipate issues before they escalate and propose practical solutions.
  • Resolve day-to-day challenges independently, knowing when to escalate.

Coordination & Follow-Through

  • Manage complex schedules, meetings, and priorities with excellent time discipline.
  • Track commitments, decisions, and actions to ensure nothing is missed.
  • Ensure accuracy in details, documentation, and communication at all times.

Execution Excellence

  • Maintain strong structure and organisation across multiple workstreams.
  • Balance speed with accuracy in a fast-moving environment.
  • Continuously improve ways of working through better organisation and judgement.

 

Requirements:

Experience

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in roles involving coordination, execution, or ownership of outcomes (e.g. project coordination/management, operations, business development, sales execution, or leadership support).
  • Direct responsibility for follow-ups, tracking, or delivery, not just participation (e.g. owning action logs, deadlines, stakeholders, or outcomes).
  • Advanced Excel and computer skills used daily for tracking, scheduling, reporting, or analysis (pivot tables, formulas, structured trackers expected).
  • Working knowledge of numbers and finance (budgets, revenues, costs, simple financial analysis, or commercial decision-making).
  • Demonstrated ability to operate under urgency, including handling last-minute requests, changing priorities, and high-visibility tasks with accuracy.
  • Experience working with senior stakeholders is an advantage but not essential if behavioural maturity is strong.
