Overview of the role:

Job Estimators play a critical role in the Workshop by providing customers and insurance companies with accurate, competitive estimates in a timely manner. This enables faster approvals and enhances overall customer satisfaction. The role requires the job holder to act as an image builder for the Service Department, consistently demonstrating trust, confidence, and professionalism in all customer interactions.

What you will do:

• Execute assigned jobs in line with established work standards, specifications, and required timelines. 
• Maintain a high level of professional decorum and hospitality when interacting with customers and colleagues. 
• Achieve a minimum of 80% approval rate from the total number of estimated vehicles. 
• Collect complete, accurate, and reliable information from customers to support proper evaluation and assessment of vehicle damage. 
• Prepare detailed repair estimates, clearly explain them to customers, and negotiate repair charges where required. 
• Achieve monthly financial targets related to Labour Hours, Parts, and other associated sales. 
• Manage and closely monitor work in progress to ensure timely vehicle delivery to customers, while also ensuring customers are reminded of their next service due date.

Required skills to be successful:

• Strong understanding of vehicle repair processes, damage assessment, labour operations, and parts requirements, enabling accurate and competitive repair estimates while meeting quality and approval standards.
• Ability to build trust with customers and insurance partners through professional conduct, clear explanations, and a service-oriented mindset, ensuring high approval rates and positive customer experiences.
• Skilled in negotiating repair costs and approvals while balancing customer satisfaction, insurance requirements, and business profitability to consistently achieve financial targets.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills to interact confidently with customers, workshop teams, insurers, and internal stakeholders, ensuring smooth workflow, timely delivery, and accurate documentation.

What qualifies you for the role:

• Technical School qualification, Certificate, or Diploma in Automobile or Mechanical Engineering. 
• 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in the automotive industry or a similar role. 
• Strong technical knowledge with the ability to act as a reliable consultant, providing accurate and up-to-date information in response to customer inquiries. 
• Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking both English and Arabic; computer literacy and valid driving skills are required. 
• Excellent communication skills (both in-person and remote), a dynamic personality, well-groomed and presentable appearance, and a positive attitude toward customer service and building a strong company image.
