Tasks

  • Maintain responsibility for one or several sections of the store as instructed by your Manager keeping a basic image of the area (folding and displaying)
  • Process sales, exchanges and refunds efficiently, accurately and quickly in all payment methods
  • Ensure that good housekeeping standards are maintained on the shop floor when required and ensure that the Cash desk areas are replenished and kept tidy throughout the day.
  • Ensure that customers are acknowledged and receive a quality services   either face to face or over the telephone
  • Maintain excellent standards in the stockroom by organizing and arranging the stockroom efficiently
  • Continually develop stocks knowledge and promotions throughout the store.
  • Cover key responsibilities of the Head Cashier and Deputy Cashier in their absence.
  • Follow and engage in the relevant training and development as set by your line manager.
  • Ensure complete efficiency when following opening and closing cash desk procedures
  • To deliver excellent customer services in order to achieve store sales target and proved great customer experience.

 

Training & Development

  • To attend all relevant trainings pertaining to customer services and product knowledge

 

Standards

  1. Compliance
  • Ensures that the store is adequately resourced across all the areas that are touched by legal compliance have a thorough knowledge of all compliance issues across the store and that the people involved are knowledgeable and fully trained
  • Ensures employees are knowledgeable and always updated on SOPs
  • Implements store self-assessment audits/reviews internal audit reports and devise action plans with the wider management team ensuing that actions are delivered

 

  1. Health and Safety
  • To ensure good housekeeping is maintained throughout all areas in the store and to communicate with the senior management team in case an accident happens
  • To be aware of the risks of employees and customers are exposed to and to be aware of safe work practices and company procedures to overcome them.

 

Education:

  • Degree holder

Minimum experience and knowledge:

  • Previous fashion retail experience and/or excellent customer service experience preferred
  • Previous cash handling experience desirable Strong numerate and literacy skills
