What You Will Do:
Store Operations
- Maintain responsibility for one or several sections of the store, ensuring a neat appearance and effective displays.
- Process sales, exchanges, and refunds efficiently, ensuring accuracy in handling various payment methods.
- Ensure good housekeeping standards are maintained on the shop floor and cash desk areas are tidy.
- Maintain excellent standards in the stockroom by organizing and arranging the stock efficiently.
Customer Service
- Deliver excellent customer service both face-to-face and over the telephone to achieve store sales targets.
- Ensure customers are acknowledged promptly and provide a high-quality service experience.
- Cover key responsibilities of the Head Cashier and Deputy Cashier in their absence, ensuring seamless operations.
Sales and Promotions
- Continually develop knowledge of store stocks and promotions to enhance customer experiences.
- Engage in training and development for customer service and product knowledge as outlined by management.
Compliance and Safety
- Ensure compliance standards are adhered to across the store, implementing self-assessment audits and action plans.
- Maintain good housekeeping and communicate promptly with management about any safety issues.
- Be aware of risks and apply safe work practices, ensuring knowledge of company procedures.
